Got bulk trash from your Spring and Pesach cleanups? In order to alleviate traffic at the drop-off sites before Pesach, the Departmetn of Public Works is asking residents to take advantage of the bulk pick-ups prior to Pesach. Bulk pick-ups are for items such as metal, brush and electronics.
The following is the schedule for the next few weeks:
If your garbage pick up is on Monday, bulk pick up will be March 30th and April 6.
If your garbage pick up is on Tuesday, bulk pick up will be March 9th and April 13.
If your garbage pick up is on Thursday, bulk pick up will be March 16.
If your garbage pick up is on Friday day, bulk pick up will be March 23.
You must call the DPW at 732-905-3405 – to request a bulk pick up.
Also, bulk trash and recyclables can always be brought to the DPW at the corner of New Hampshire and Cedar Bridge avenues. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

I remember seeing a list a while back regarding what items they come for and what items you have to bring to the DPW yourself. Does anyone have a link to that?
Specifically, will they come for old car tires and a large old tube TV?
We do not pick up tires, you can bring them to the DPW site on America Avenue, but they must be off the rim. Yes we do pick up tv’s (electronics) A pamphlet describing what we do handle, a holiday sechuled and zone map is available by calling the DPW @ 732.905.3405 extension 0
