I don’t understand……now R mordechai is a dating coach?!
I assume (and hope) he has a Rav he consults with with each case!
my parents are divorced and i am finding it very hard to get a shidduch. what can i do to make it easier. what are boys looking for?
desperate.
ps i am 24 years old
She is an older professional girl over 35, had a broken engagement. never married.
He is a BT, over 45, professional & a kohen. never married
How mush Shadchanus for a tough shiduch?
why is it that all the shadchanim are very eager tp meet the girls but after the meeting, at which they rattled off at least 5 names, you never hear from them. And worst is they never pick up the phone when we try to call them. Why do we (parents of girls) constantly hear that the shadchanim are working on the out of town girls? Doesn”t it say you should take care of your own town first? There are countless Lakewood girls that are amzing girls all types that are waiting for a phone call! I think its time that all Lakewood shadchanim make the Lakewood girls a priority. Dont say Lakewood girls are in town so they have it easier its not the case.
You told my husband (8 yrs ago) that in marriage there are no rules… He still applies this and it’s b’h working…. Wouldn’t you say the same when it comes to shidduchim? I don’t understand why there are so many rules-and “all” the boys need & want the same thing.
It’s not always that the parents know what the boy or girl really want, and the call usually is to the parents in the yeshiva world.
Why are we seeing “Please stand by…. starting soon” at almost 1 pm?
I am never able to view your videos because I have a K9 filter. Can you try to change the format of your videos so they can be accessable to those that filtered their internets properly?
My son is 21 and says he wants to get married how do I know if he’s ready or not? What’s the most important thing I have to see from him?
Can you please explain this phenomenon as to why boys have an upper hand in shidduchim. Thanks for your great show!
A resume is a paper that contains all the basic info you need. Then you take your basic info and continue your search. What are people writing on their resumes??
doesn’t seem to be working
They got cold feet!!
How can we see the video? it never came on.
when is video going up…. we are waiting
Waiting patiently for video
Part of the reason the boys (learning) have the upper hand is v/ simple. The girls high schools, for whatever reason (& there r many) are doing a much better job at graduating their students than the mesivtas. So, lets take the girls fresh on the market. They graduated Seminary in ’13, so they entered hi-school in 2008. Lets say 2,000 frum boys/girls entered hi school 2008. Girls grad rate is over 90%, so over 1800 graduated, interested in a serious learner. But, the mesivta rate is much less, so MAYBE 1,000 boys are seriously learning 4,5 & 6 yrs later. Theres ur crisis. Not the age gap.
when will the video of today be available to watch ?
Still waiting in the video!!!
Editor….
I couldnt watch yesterday……..When will the replay be available?
where can w wach this video now????? plz answer mr. scoop
How can we watch this @lakewoodscoop
why don’t we just go back where a boy meets a girl. In my opinion shidduch’s are a way of the past which leads to the high number of divorces.
a resume for a marriage is cruel, unfair and causes family issues.
Any reason they are not reposting this?!
