JEMS Academy is a pioneering educational institution for children with disabilities in South Florida. JEMS is dedicated to nurturing the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth of our students. Our mission is to provide individualized Jewish education in a therapeutic environment to children with special needs, ensuring they can each achieve the highest degree of knowledge, Yiddishkeit, self-esteem, and independence possible.
As we enter our third year, JEMS Academy is proud to announce significant expansion and success. Our student enrollment is growing exponentially! Our students are excelling in their studies, demonstrating remarkable academic achievements and personal development. JEMS currently has integration programs with 4 mainstream schools, allowing our students to work on their social skills and build meaningful connections across the South Florida Jewish community. Our integration program not only enriches the lives of our JEMS students, but helps create a kinder, more sensitive, and accepting generation of Jewish youth.
