Special Children’s Center’s Jog-A-Thon Registration Kicks Off

PHOTO: The Special Children’s Center this evening kicked off registration for their first ever Jog-A-Thon event – a special walk, run, or jog for special children. The Center says 65 Joggers have already signed up for the 5 Kilometer run, which will be taking place on Labor Day weekend.

Participants gathered at the Center this evening for a hot buffet, video presentation, and to learn about their training schedule. Runners also received a promotional kit to take home.

The 5 Kilometer Jog-A-Thon – coordinated by Yanky Mermelstien and Moshe Serebrowski – will raise funds to benefit the special needs children.
