[COMMUNICATED] For those challenged with Parkinson’s, there is finally comfort in a Jewish support system. Spearheaded by Rabbi Moshe Gruskin, Sparks of Life aims to fill a very necessary void for Parkinson’s patients. The goal is to provide the much needed emotional and financial support, medical guidance and the strength of a unified group.
Join the first ever -SPARKS OF LIFE in conjunction with BIKUR CHOLIM OF LAKEWOOD evening of support this Wednesday, June 22. The evening will be for those challenged with Parkinson’s, their family and friends, and will take place at the Bikur Cholim building – 93 Prospect Street at 7:30 pm. The evening’s MC is Dr. Howard Lebowitz, MD (Chief Medical Officer, AcuteCare Health System) the guest speaker is Harav Hagaon Rav Elya Brudny, shlit”a (Rosh Yeshivas Mir of Brooklyn, NY) and moderated by R’ Benyamin Halpern, LCSW.
While the educational and inspirational value of this event is enormous, perhaps even more valuable is the connection, the family unit that fellow sufferers can tap into – as they take comfort in knowing that they are not alone in this frightening journey. Together, they will accomplish more and together they will derive strength from each other.
Come, and gain valuable information at this historic evening of support.
