South Toms River Police Discover Skimming Device on ATM at Local Wawa

South Toms River police are urging anyone who used an ATM at a local Wawa store to check with their bank after a card skimming device was detected on the machine.

Police say they were notified by PNC Bank that an alert had been triggered on one of their ATMs located inside the Wawa at 379 Dover Road.

No fraudulent activity has been reported yet and detectives are continuing to investigate.

Anyone who suspects their card may have been compromised, is asked to call the South Toms River police at 732-349-0313 ext. 115.
