An Opportunity to send a Kvitel to be read by the Posek Hador on Rosh Hashanah.
Rav Chaim Ozer Sternbuch shlita, son of the Posek Hador, Maran Rav Moshe Sternbuch shlita, and Rosh Kollel of Kollel Teshuvos V’Hanhagos, is in Lakwood as part of the mission entrusted to him by his revered father.
Rav Sternbuch’s Kollel network is continuing to grow, with the opening of a new branch this Z’man, as well as the publication by the Kollel members of several of Rav Moshe’s sefarim.
Rav Moshe personally wrote a letter on his son’s behalf in advance of his trip. He wrote:
“This Kollel network is one of a kind. Fortunate is the man who supports it, as he guarantees himself a very great reward. My son, Rav Chaim Ozer, is an exceptional talmid chochom.”
While still a young man, Rav Chaim Ozer was approached by the famed gaon and mekubal, Rav Yisroel Elya Weintraub zt”l, who asked to learn with him b’chavrusah. The two studied together for many years. Additionally Rav Chaim Ozer learned privately with his father for many years and received shimush from him in halacha and horaah.
While in Lakewood, Rav Chaim Ozer is scheduled to deliver several shiurim and shmuessim, and to meet with donors on behalf of the Kollel network that he leads under his father’s aegis.
He will also be available to meet privately with residents of Lakewood each evening in the home of his host, R’ Yoel Ortner.
In the days preceding the Yomim Noraim, Rav Chaim Ozer will give over the kvitlach he receives in Lakewood to his father, who will daven for the names on the kvitlach during Yomim Nora’im.
This evening, the Rav will be giving a Shiur at 6:30 PM at 100 9th Street, Lakewood, as well as a Shiur at 1019 East County Line Road, Lakewood. 9:45 PM Drasha, 10:10 PM Maariv.
