who is the architect for this upcoming shul?
same guy who designs the parking spaces all over town…………..
We have been asking for sidewalks for years in Pine Acres and all requests have been ignored. I guess we aren’t important.
Lucy Road, Ronald Road, etc, etc
are there any photoes?
To # 4. Photos will be posted later.
There may be PHOTOS, but there will def NOT be any PHOTOES- where did u learn how to spell?
Sure, why not throw up a couple more hundred homes and neighborhoods at Pine street? I mean, there’s no congestion or anything like that in that area. Lots of open space, plenty of parking, nice open area too. As a matter of fact, I think some more shuls and a couple more schools right there would be a brilliant idea!
Yoel Fisher you’re THE BEST. Attention all developers! make sure to book him for your next project!
Maybe he meant POTATOES
Instead of letting people post comments which intend to make fun of other’s spelling mistakes, you should at least not remove a simple genuine compliment for yoel fisher !?
oops! just saw my first msg (7) is back on, so i’m taking back (the second part) of comment 9
This isn’t for a sidewalk. It is a groundbreaking for a synagogue on private property. You shouldn’t confuse public sidewalks with private construction.
Oh, the reason it says “Somerset WALK” is because that’s the name of the development. (it seems that was the cause of your confusion).
Its called Somerset Walk because the developers built so many homes there that now you can’t drive in the area from all the traffic.

Why would you want sidewalks there. They are so far out ..then you are responsible to maintain them. And no one maintains them anywhere else. That is more money wasted, I know people that have lived there for years w/o sidewalks. Why bother.
If Pine Acres wants sidewalks they will PAY BIG TIME to have them put in. And, because of the improvement, your taxes will GO UP. A few years ago there was talk about this and it was turned down by the residents. Why do you want sidewalks there? The kids, and some of the adults, would still play/walk in the streets. They do not know what back yards are for. And don’t forget – most of the houses are rentals so the landlords would have to pay for the sidewalks. There haven’t been sidewalks in Pine Acres in 60 years and none are needed now.
no,no no, you know. photoes, those things in your shoos!
will they build this building correct. hopefully the engineers/inspectors perform a better inspection this time.
hope they allow for ample parking or we will be reading about school buses getting stuck there too.
To all those who said why sidewalks are needed in Pine Acres… Kids crossing to the park. safety.
Whats sad is that this town only caters to one group of people.
You wonder why people have left
The streets at Somerset Walk are worst than at Whispering Pines. You cant fit a truck and a car at the same time there and i know that for a fact. Most of the streets are dead ends and garbage pick up there is a joke.So i imagine how school buses are going to struggle there too.But the developer dont care about that, and it looks the township dont care either.
