Last week, numerous Lakewood girls schools canceled Friday due to the lack of busing because of drivers off for the holiday.
This week, LSTA is running, though some busing could be affected due to some bus drivers and teachers out sick.
I am extremely disappointed with threes cancellations. I hope that the schools will consider cancelling the Friday of mid winter break to somewhat make up for this. I think they should have at least prepared something via phone for the kids or some kind of program. I highly doubt the schools will cancel Friday of midwinter because we will b told that they need vacation but I think the right thing would be for them to make up these days.

It’s time for the schools to get their own buses so they can control their own schedules like the cgasidishe schools that moved to town and are efficient with this
I’m sorry you feel the schools should shorten the 2 day midwinter vacation to 1!!! What do your girls learn on friday??? Did u ever wonder what the teacher could cram in that short time?? Your kids aren’t missing out on that much.
With the number of teachers and students absent this week, all girl schools should have closed Friday and maybe even additional days as well.
At least my tuition will be lowered this month ????

Yey! Hope my school follows though! I can’t explain why it’s ok for a Jewish school to give off December 25 and not January 1!!! I luv having my kids around and would luv if they’d cancel every Friday!
I think they should cancel Tuesday of mid winter vacation. Parents work and only get so many personal days off.
