Some Good News: Hurricane Irene Weakens – Expected To Hit NJ As Category 1 Storm

According to the National Hurricane Center, the Hurricane Irene has weakened slightly, but will still come in harshly. According to the forecast, the Hurricane will hit New Jersey as a category 1 Hurricane, packing winds of 75 to 90 mph, with the strongest winds coming in Sunday morning. The storm could hit as early as 10:00 PM on Motzei Shabbos.

The storm will weaken during the afternoon on Sunday, according to the forecasts.
