ABOUT MEKOR HACHINUCH
Mekor Hachinuch was born from the philosophy of chanoch lnaar al pi darko, teaching each child—and the whole child—in the way he or she learns best.
Today, our team of educators and therapists work within more than 15 educational institutions throughout the Lakewood community, creating a unique educational experience with the goal of helping students reach their specific benchmarks and be mainstreamed with their class.
In nurturing a warm and supportive environment, we provide the framework for academic and personal growth within the classroom—and beyond.

This organization of self contained classes is really a brocha to Lakewood. Mrs Leah Schlesinger and all of her devoted staff are truly amazing and have gone above and beyond for the chinuch of children needing to be in a self contained class. Bh after 5 years of complete dedication of the Mekor Hachinuch teachers and supervisors my daughter will Iyh be mainstreaming back into her original school. We would not have reached this milestone if not for the unbelievable dedication and devotion of Mrs Schlesinger, Mrs. Kanner, Mrs Gewirtz and all the teachers of Mekor Hachinuch. Please open your hearts and give to this vital organization so that other kids can reach the milestone that we have reached.
