PHOTO: The rain overnight falling on top of the several inches of fresh snow has caused for slushy and icy road conditions this morning, promoting police to shuts some roads.
On Albert Avenue, vehicles were unable to make it up the hill due to the icy road conditions, an official told TLS.
Multiple accidents and spin-outs were also reported to TLS today.
Temperatures are expected to remain above freezing today, before falling again below the freezing mark tonight.
TIP: You can help your neighborhood avoid flooding by clearing the storm drains near your home.

What’s the excuse this time for not plowing? It’s going to freeze over and gonna be 100 X worse. New hampshire is a County Road and was plowed why not township roads???
Are they gonna clear the roads at all. Or wait till it refreezes
Where are the township plows??? The roads are horrendous.
Gotta revamp public works. Where is our $100,000,000 tax dollars going? Ok so $60,000,000 going to public school, where is the other 40. We should get a published detailed receipt for all expenses every January for the past year showing exactly how are tax dollars were wasted.
It is outrageous that the roads were not touched today, leaving very dangerous roads and travel. Unacceptable.
Please! Please! Plow the roads it’s really very dangerous and treacherous driving.
If Raintree freezes tonight, we’re in big trouble. Our streets look like a slushy lake, not a road. We could use a boat. Don’t see how anyone will be able to get out. So far they (PWD) have always done a fantastic job. I’m not complaining, just saying. Maybe the warm weather today will help.
Completely outrageous!! The worst is the intersection where you can’t stop at the stop sign and if you do, your tires spin before your on the way again.
the plows ran away and will return when all the puddles freeze over to create nice sheets of ice
Wow! If that bad stay in, lol
Maybe DPW knew what they were doing,10:00 my street was slush, 12:00 wet. Later dry, guess DPW’s knew there would be enough traffic out to melt the mess, if the roads were as bad as people say then stay off them until safe to drive on. Had no problem when I went out.
They did a nice job in Raintree today…tyvm
