Snow, freezing temperatures moving into the area

driving in snowLakewood could get some snow tonight, and freezing temperatures for the rest of the week.

A period of snow showers is likely overnight tonight, with snowfall accumulation of about an inch, according to the National Weather Service.

With temperatures below freezing, you can expect slick roads.

Bitter cold will move into the area for Thursday and Friday, with the high at around 26 degrees. Wind chill values near zero are possible Thursday night.

A wintry mix is possible early Saturday before the precipitation changes to all rain.
