Snow Blankets Lakewood, ‘Dangerous Wind Chill Values’ move in

snow 2-15-15The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, and Wind Chill Advisory due to the snow and frigid temperatures in the area.

Lakewood overnight got blanketed with several inches of snow, and dangerous temperatures have moved in.

According to the Service, temperatures for today and tonight will be in the zero-20 degree range, with a ‘dangerous wind chill’ value of around 15 below zero.

Some schools have cancelled busing, and delayed openings today. Check with your child’s school for their schedule.
