Simply Tsfat to perform in Lakewood tonight

[COMMUNICATED] Tonight, Eizer L’shabbos Tzfas will be hosting their inaugural Lakewood event to benefit the vital work of this special mosad, led by Rav Binyomin Rosenberg. The event will feature the music of “Simply Tzfas” and is sure to be an exciting evening.

Eizer L’Shabbos Tzfas literally sustains families in the holy city of Tzfas. Without these packages their lives would be even more unbearable, their Shabbos tables would be bare and especially their Yom Tov tables would be devoid of any joy.

Scores of families get food each week. When it comes to Yomim Tovim, that’s when we really get into high gear. Over 400 Mishpachos receive packages or stipends for Purim, Shavuos, Sukkos and every other Yom Tov. When it comes to Pesach, over 1,000 Mishpachos are taken under the Eizer L’Shabbos wing and receive food or vouchers.

These packages, prepared for each family with their specific needs in mind, are delivered in a respectful and honorable way, allowing the needy families to retain their dignity and function as regular families in society.

The current budget is more than $300,000 and if more money was raised, even more families would be able to be helped.

The Lakewood campaign is geared to raise awareness of the poverty that is being experienced by our brethren in the holy city of Tzfas, and to bring them relief in a way that they deserve.

  3. Rabbi Rosenberg is a selfless individual and a pleasure to deal with. I have known him for years and am impressed every time I meet him. I am happy to see that he will be in lakewood.

    Just a real person and you see it as soon as you meet him.
