Shopper Hospitalized after Being Pinned While Loading Up Vehicle in Lakewood

A shopper in Lakewood was hospitalized this afternoon after being pinned to a vehicle in Lakewood.

The shopper was reportedly loading up his vehicle at Home Depot in Lakewood, when a driver struck him, pinning him against his car. A source on scene told TLS it appears something got stuck under the driver’s brake, which didn’t allow him to full brake.

The pedestrian was transported by Hatzolah to Ocean Medical Center with leg injuries.

Police are investigating the incident.
