Shoes For Kidz announced the placement of its latest shoe collection bin at Four Corners parking lot, corner of County Line and Squankum.
It joins several other bins that are conveniently placed around town.
Often your child will outgrow a pair of shoes, while it is still in perfect shape. You can’t bear to throw it out. What to do? Shoes for Kidz comes to the rescue. We’ll ship it to Eretz Yisroel, where it can live a second life.
Under auspices of Yad Eliezer, we’ll provide it to a child of a poor family, to whom it may be very valuable.
The Lakewood Kehila can take pride in the fact that over the years they have sent tens of thousands of pairs of footwear to Eretz Yisroel, thereby dramatically affecting the lives of so many children.
Another aspect of this that makes it especially meaningful. Many of us remember the very active askan and philanthropist – Shraga Newhouse. In his time he was known to be one of the major supporters of BMG, and Yad Eliezer was very dear to his heart. His son Avromi, proprietor of Four Corners Bagels, was eager to continue his father’s legacy by placing the bin in his lot.
