Leah Berkowitz was never one to ask for help. But when her family was faced with insurmountable odds, she had no choice. 

Seven years ago, her husband Benjy was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He was still undergoing chemotherapy and would need another surgery soon. But that wasn’t the end of it.

Now, Ari, their sixth child, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. Without urgent, life-saving surgery, he will not survive, and Leah is afraid for his life.

Caring for 8 children, several of them autistic, was already a challenge, but with Benjy’s health deteriorating, Leah is now facing it alone. 

Leah and her family are facing an uphill battle, but they are determined to fight. They need help to pay for basic expenses, like rent, food and medication.
