Shapiro’s Bakery Wholesalers, proprietors of the Korn’s and Stern’s Bakery line, is reminding Lakewood residents that quality bakeries have a challenge keeping up with the demand immediately after Pesach.
“Consumers need to know that Baruch Hashem we are not in a time of war or famine,” says Reb Yisroel Meir Shapiro of Shapiro’s Bakery Wholesalers. “People need to know that IY’H there will be plenty more bread on Monday, Tuesday and every weekday after that until next Pesach הבא עלינו לטובה. We are literally working 24/6 to bring all our products back to the shelves. Bread products and Pastry products too. We are extremely grateful for the tremendous demand for our products year round. However, BH due to that huge demand, it does take some time to get everything going as needed. Especially this week. It is tough to build an entire new plant for just the “Day after Pesach” production. We will iyH have trucks rolling throughout the day all of this week.”
He adds, “So instead of grabbing six or more loaves and putting them in the freezer, please just take what you need for now and feel free to come back the next day for more. You will be really helping the situation.”
Shapiro says that despite literally working around the clock, it takes about two weeks to get back to normal and accommodate the market after Pesach.
“We wish everyone A Gezinten Zimmer and all the best! Thank you for your understanding and patronage!”

Thank you so much for all that you and your company do! I can’t even imagine the stress that you guys must be under this week. It’s not easy having products that everyone wants. May the demand always be so great.
Thx, R’ Yisroel Meir for all that you, as well all other bakeries for that matter, do, in the days after Pesach to meet the demand of our precious Yiddisheh Mammehs. Its actually funny watching the ppl snatch 7 loaves of bread. Hellooooooo ?? We have flour, and yeast, B”H, come back tomorrow.
Hatzlocha Rabbah!!
So there’s really no bread crisis?
wondering what’s the story with whole wheat bread that it takes so long to make
I’ve seen so much junk like sprinkle cookies but no whole wheat from the regular bakeries
also those that are Makpid on flour after Pesach especially for traveling home out of town need to stock up now till after Shavuos
if the shopowners would limit how many loaves people buy that would be very helpful we went to three different stores and they were all sold out of danishes except one store that had a few cheese danishes
