Shapiro’s Bakery Van Stolen While Making Delivery

[UPDATED] [PHOTOS] A Shapiro’s Bakery van making a delivery, was stolen a short time ago, TLS has learned. Police and LCSW are on the lookout for the 2008 black Chevy Express Cargo van which was stolen from 200 Park Avenue at about 9:30 AM while the delivery person was making a delivery at Park Terrace Hall.

The license plate # is YLT-78T.

Anyone with information is asked to call police, or LCSW. TLS-62/TLS-50

UPDATE 11:48 AM. R’ Yisroel Meir Shapiro of Shapiro’s Wholesale Bakery tells TLS the van has been located.

R’ Yisroel Meir says following the post on TLS, multiple organizations around town went looking for the van. It was located a few moments ago by a Bikur Cholim member, in a lot on Park Avenue.

Police are having the vehicle towed to be fingerprinted.

  1. I just finished posting on the article about the creep who could not afford his own wheels and had to steal. Then this article pops up.

    I state even more strongly that our fine politicians should invest those federal funds for security into making Lakewood one of those American towns with cameras on every street.

    I hate to say it, but I think professional car chop shoppers are hitting Lakewood now. They are professional and are like roaches. You have to shine the light on them.
