Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect Until 9PM

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9:00 PM, the National Weather Service says. The watch was issued for the following counties: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Sussex and Warren.

JCP&L says there are currently over 18,000 customers without power. Only a few outages were reported in Lakewood.
