Please buckle up, hang up, and SLOW DOWN. Most serious accidents happen within a mile of a persons home.
Yeh , don’t know what took so long for TLS to post it , the accident happened well before 11:30pm . maybe too many things going on tonight
they posted it on Facebook right away
police was there within 15 seconds , he must of been in the area and heard the crash
is there an update on the condition of the passangers?
why did the first emt in scene transport, and leave everyone else on scene. LFA great job last night, u make us proud!
Go LFA !!! we need more guys like you.
Dear All,
Being a frum bystander in last nights overturn, there is only 1 thing I can say. The members on Lakewood First Aid are the best people this town has. The way they treat patients with loving care no matter their religion is hard to find.
“WHAT A MAJOR KIDDUSH HASHEM”.
Keep up the good work.
#10, you are so right. I think I will give my $104 to them. They can surely use them.
Hatzoloh!! must say wonderfull work there!!!!!!!!!
as the town grows we need BOTH Hatzolah and LFA they are 2 great orgs. helping save lives.
I am a NY Hatzolah member as well as a volunteer fire fighter in upstate NY. As I watched the scene last night (they clearly had the situation under control and didn’t need my help)I was really proud.
Lakewood Hatzolah used to be a small (of course dedicated and proffesional as well) orginization. Thay are now a very large orginization with truly advanced equipment and members who are really good. They ran the scene in a proffesional manner and also worked side by side with PD and the First Aid in a very organized manner.
What many didn’t realize was that in middle of the call another VERY serious ALS call went out and a few minutes later a THIRD one!! On top of that one of the busses had engine issues. That Hatzolah has come to the point of being able to work multiple serious calls with paramedics on board as well is very special! I don’t know many volunteer squads in America that can do that!
Wow what’s with the LFA agenda all of the sudden they always do a good job why the pump all of the sudden
any condition on the patients as of this morning?
Mechel, I understand you very well. However, what are you doing scanning Hatzolah’s frequency. how do you know all this??? would you like people scanning NY’s radios?
Mechel saw you there! Thanks for explaining what was occuring. As you can tell there is a certain undercurrent by some commentors to stick it to Hatzolah. I don’t think eloboration is needed. Anyone who has ever been part of a very large operation (i.e. terrorist attack, truly mass casualty scene) knows how important it is to run a calm organized command. ML of Hatzolah did a great job. LFA and the PD did a fantastik job as well. Lakewood needs to support all their institutions such as Hatzolah as well as Lakewood Fire and First Aid. These are our orginizations and we need to stand by them. When we call we want them to be available whether a crash , fire, or a code!
I think it was ironic that TLS just showed pics a few days ago of Hatzolah and LFD and LFA to exrecation practices! It was for calls like this that they practice so much.
Lakewood is certainly growing and we all need to recognize that and support them. As Mechel said there were THREE serious ALS (requiring Advance Life Saving i.e. paramedics) calls going on at once Mtzsh that Hatzolah was dealing with!!! I didnt monitor Lakewwod FA but I’s sure that they too were working other calls as well.
These are all called mosdos as well in my opinion. Hatzolah is in middle of their annual fundraiser support them and help them help you. (And do the same for FD and FA when they make their collections)
Those who try to minimize ANY of these, Hatzolah, FA, FD, PD etc. shame on you!! If you are bitter for some reason don’t do it in a way that may effect others.
Advise all units not on location can cancel
LFA !!! its nice to see so many frum members on the force what a kiddush hashem we have to support them.
I agree, we need to support both Hatzolah and LFA along with the FD and PD, all of whom we can count on in our times of need. The all do a great job.
I can’t believe ppl are knocking TLS coverage on this story. What, he can’t take a breather on a Motzs”h ?? TLS, don’t listen to these guys. What ur doing is unbelievable & we are indebted to u in a big way. If I ever get a job or open a busoiness, bl”n I’m gonna advertise w/ u, Big Time !!

I really think we should stop judging which organization is more inportant then the next I think its time we all step back and let the profesionals do theyre work and we should take out the check books and do our part!!!!
To # 10 wouldn’t it be nice if it was a 2 way street!
too much people looking , party time.
