UPDATED: Over a dozen emergency personnel are on scene of a serious accident at the Lakewood Howell border on Route 9. The accident occurred about 11:30AM.
According to reports, a dump truck reportedly collided with a car, pinning the driver inside with serious injuries.
Multiple ambulances and extrication units were requested to the scene, and a medevac was requested to land in the area.
Expect very heavy delays and detours.
UPDATE12 PM: Two patients were transported to JSUMC, one by Lakewood EMS and one by Lakewood Hatzolah. At least one patient is said to be seriously injuries.
