Responding to Governor Phil Murphy comparing those who choose not to get the COVID vaccination to drunk drivers, Senator Ed Durr said the comparison is wrong.
“Governor Phil Murphy was wrong to compare the unvaccinated to drunk drivers,” said Durr (R-3). “It’s the kind of rhetoric that unnecessarily scares people, which has been the Democrats’ strategy all along.”
“As elected officials, we have an obligation to speak truth to the people,” Durr continued, “And, the truth is the science tells us the Omicron variant is being transmitted by both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.”
“It’s time for the governor to stop the dangerous rhetoric, follow actual science, leave the political science to the consultants, and end his unpopular vaccine and mask mandates,” Durr concluded.
I don’t…. hic…. I don’t know how the governor can… hic… burp…. comp… compare a unvaccinated fellow like me ..hic.. to, to a drunkard. Why, I’ve never…. I’ve never, never …. hic …. never consu…. consumed a …hic …. alcoho….. alcoholic beverage in my life! Hic, burp. Oh, my, I’m tired……. hic……
Since sweeney announced a run for governor, I say Durr for governor!
Governor Murphy thinks he’s the smartest thing on two feet. The reality of it is he’s just a knucklehead jerk!
He needs 3 legs to pass a sobriety test. Keep him away from my truck.
This whole vaccination thing makes no sense. If you don’t vaccinate how are you a danger to someone who is vaccinated? If you aren’t sick, you won’t transmit the disease. If you are sick, then you can transmit the disease to someone who isn’t vaccinated, but that’s not a problem because the unvaccinated person who gets the disease from you, probably doesn’t care or he would have been vaccinated.
(the vaccine protection is just a myth – it doesn’t really work, any how, so why vaccinate? You can still get covid even if you were vaxxed and boosted)
