From the organizers: Our hearts were broken from the terrible news that we heard on Thursday night. Shmuel Brog, the beautiful, pure four-year-old son of our friend, Reb Avrohom Brog, passed away in a tragic car accident. There is nothing we can say to minimize the family’s suffering or assuage their unspeakable pain. All we can do is join them in their time of mourning and bereavement.
The many friends of the family are joining together to write a Sefer Torah in Shmuel’s memory, in order to perpetuate the memory of this beloved young boy and so that the Zechus of a Sefer Torah will be a merit for his neshama in the Olam Ha’emes. When the Torah is read in shul, it will be a great nechama for the grieving parents and will provide them with some consolation and solace from their incredible pain. By collectively donating to this fund, we can help them during their time of sorrow and assist them in rebuilding their lives after this terrible tragedy.
