Scooterist Hospitalized after Colliding with Vehicle in Lakewood [PHOTO]

A child scooterist is being hospitalized after colliding with a vehicle in Lakewood this evening.

The accident happened at around 7:15 PM at the intersection of Hope Chapel and County Line Road.

The child is being transported to JSUMC with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are on scene investigating.

Was he wearing a helmet?
Was he riding on the correct side if the road?
If he was in the crosswalk crossing did he walk his scooter across like he is supposed to?

Was he wearing reflectors so that he was visible to vehicles?
