School District looking to hire new security team

The school district this evening approved a motion to hire a new security team.

Board member Isaac Zlatkin made the motion, and it was unanimously approved by the Board.

The Board will be publishing an RFP (Request For Proposal) in the near future with the requirements and to solicit proposals.

Security personnel at the public schools are armed.

  1. You people don’t make sense you want to hire security guards for schools but you get rid of teachers what is wrong with this picture

  2. Not saying teachers should be fired in this statement but the teachers are not armed nor able to defend in most cases as security personnel could. Kids still need to be safe
