great Shiur. Awesome pic choice. I can always count on TLS and YM to deliver great content and clever packaging. Who’s out to lunch?
so important!
What an important lesson! Really kidai for everyone to pay attention to this shiur. Shkoiach.
Point well taken especially for those who think they know it all because they can learn a blatt gemorah. Problem is nowadyas, chassidus is a shell of it’s former self. The Brooklyn version has very little to do with its European roots. I knew people who were from the old school chasidus from before WWII and they have told me what we have now days in america is not like it used to be. Way too matrialistic and shallow. Please don’t moderate this comment out. I am a shtreimel wearing Chassidishe who the Chassidim say I am a litvak, and the Litvish say I am a chassidishe. Who am I? A yid who is homesick for the real thing, not the rubbish version from the young modern crowd. P.S. I don’t make early Shabbos, Can’t stomach when people speak ill of any Jew (my best freinds are Litvish Bnai Torah), and want only aliya in Ruchnius for all of Klal Yisroel,
Very well articulated shiur. If people actually paid attention to the lesson taught in the shiur, we’d have a very different world. It’s tough when so many people are convinced that THEY know it all or that THEY have the answer to everything. By the way, I find the lessons from this shiur to be so relevant each week. Believe me it is a big zechus to be giving over the Torah and hashkafa of the holy Nesivos Sholom. Thanks to the maggid shiur who gives it over so well.
Maybe you should make this a daily dose of Torah rather than a weekly one.
S.S.S.S. is a beautiful way to start or end my week. I share this with everyone I know. Yashar Koach, Gutt Shabbos/Shabbat Shalom and a refua sheleima for kollel yirsoel.
