  1. I wanted to go , but, then I saw they are charging $18, which I am really not adverse to , except for the fact that my husband already gave $xxx.00 for the cause and I don’t think I can afford to give more. Can I go for less?

  2. why are they double dipping . the husband already gave . its not right to take money from people in lakewood . most of us are struggling for the basics . go to california or florida .

  3. I think they made it too close to the mens event. We can’t write 2 large checks in the same week. If the women’s evening would take place in a week or two from now I think they could make more money.

  4. i was there- it was amazing! this event was definitely a step closer to bringing achdus & the geulah closer….stop complaining! think of an innocent man in a jail cell….we have to just keep looking for the positive in every situation even if it appears the opposite! Hashem loves us all- we are all His children He only wants our good!!

  5. I just got home from there- it was the most inspiring event i have ever been to. There was a huge turnout- the main room, plus the chupa room and two classrooms were all packed. Mrs. Rubashkin and her daughter spoke- they are unreal! Rabbi Shapiro’s speech was also awe- inspiring. It was really difficult for me to get out tonight, but I am so glad that I made the effort. Hopefully, the fact that all these women did come to show their support will make a huge difference.

  6. the idea of going is to show achdus & give chizuk
of course $ is also needed desperatly.

all those who couldent go can still donate online & “help unite sholom in klal yisroel!!! “

  7. I went, and didn’t pay, because my husband gave so much, but then after Rabbi Shapiro spoke about the value of even a “kopekle”, I emptied my pocketbook and gave more. May we merit that this year Tisha b’Av will become a yom tov in the zechus of the coming together of all sects of Klall Yisroel, for the Rubashkin cause.
