New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced overnight lane closures with alternating traffic on Route 9 for roadway resurfacing in Toms River.

Beginning at 9 p.m. tonight, Monday, November 9, until 6 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, November 10 NJDOT’s contractor is scheduled to close one lane on Route 9 between Clover Road and the Route 70 interchange. One lane will be maintained with alternating traffic.  This closure will allow the contractor to resurface sections of the roadway.  Motorists in the area should expect brief delays.

The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
