Reb Spiegel, who has 10 years experience in the Shechitah filed, flew down to Kansas for several hours, in order to geta first-hand experience and to check out the newest Shechitah. The ‘Yeshivish Shehitah’, for Lamm’s Mehadrin Meats, now in it’s second week, was opened specifically for B’nei Torah who are extremely stringent in Shechita Halachos. TLS spoke with Reb Spiegel this morning who said “I am grateful I was able to meet such Mumchim in Shechitah and Bedikah”. “It’s different when you have a Shechitah which is “Avek-Geshtelt” (designated) for Lakewood B’nei Torah” he said. He added, that there is no ‘Shmoozing’ during the Shechitah and any animal on which a ‘Shaila’ arose, was immediately deemed a Neveilah.

I once had the Zechus to shmooze with Reb Buruch and he really knows his stuff klar! He is a real expert when it comes to meat!
yeshivish actually has a very negative connotation. if some one says to me that his suka was built very yshivish i will not walk into it both for halachk and safety eeasons. call it anything but yeshivish. hey call it rosh chabura sgechitabut y yeshivish
Nuuu… So where can the oilam start buying this mehudardike shechita? Hopefully none of the chassidishe shechita politics will get mixed in overthere. Are they also offering bnei torah pricing??

yeshivish has no more of negative connotation than chassidish.
I just saw an order form in Yeshiva the pricing is amazing like half price, it said special pricing for Bnei Yeshiva. The number on the form was 732-961-7708
I in fact tasted some of the meat it is very tasty and great quality
i notice that they are an advertiser on tls. obviously they are not only interested in yeshivishe business as they are on the internet

ok all lakewooders who are not from the midwest. The Shochet is Harav Fishbane Shlita who has been doing shchita for many many many years and all the frum yeshivish chicago and milwauke chevra have trusted him for many years. Also know in the past as Aurora “Ches”
