Robert P. Nahum, CPA, CFP, and owner of the accounting firm of Robert P. Nahum PC, with offices in Lakewood and East Brunswick, recently received the “Excellence in Community Service” award from Spectrum for Living, River Vale, N.J., a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 that offers services, such as social, educational, medical and advocacy support, to adults with multiple physical and developmental disabilities.
Nahum has served on the board of Spectrum for Living for 25 years, which makes him the longest serving board member. He is now the treasurer for Spectrum.

A West Orange resident, Nahum holds a B.S. in accounting from NYU School of Business.  He is active in professional organizations and in the community. Nahum is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) and the New Jersey State Society of CPAs. He is a member of the National Institute of Certified College Planning Specialists and earned the designation College Planning Specialist (CCPS), which certifies that he has the knowledge to assist families in planning and saving for college. Nahum is also experienced in such areas as investments, financial planning, insurance, and all areas of retirement and estate planning.
