Road Rage Incident in Lakewood Leaves One Pepper-Sprayed [PHOTOS]

A driver was pepper-sprayed following a road rage incident in Lakewood today, TLS has learned.

The incident happened around 2:15 PM when two drivers got into an altercation on Rt. 9.

One of the parties involved then pulled out a pepper spray can and sprayed the other driver before fleeing the area.

Police and EMS responded and the pepper-sprayed party was transported to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood for treatment.

Police are investigating.
