A would be burglar was scared off by residents early this morning before he could do any damage. A resident in the Ridge Avenue area tells TLS he and another resident hear noises at about 1:30 AM coming from outside and looked out of their windows to investigate.
Sure enough, a burglar – who appeared to be black or Hispanic – was seen in front of a home attempting to either gain access to the home or steal from the property.
The residents banged on their window and phoned police, where upon the would-be thief fled the property.
“Police have a description and are in the area looking for the culprit”, one of the residents says.
This incident comes just one day after a home robbery and multiple home burglaries.
whats the dif between home robbery and home burglaries
Why did they scare him off? Should have waited for pd to catch him red handed
why are u calling him a would be burgler. its not kavod for him. call him a borrower of goods
Why didnt they terminate the problem, permanently???
if they let him get inside and there were ppl inside its a terribly emotional thing, not to mention what he might have done in there
Terrible article. What neighborhood?
its time for us to be armed
He is A bedevediga ganoff not a lechatchillodiga ganoff since he mamash dint enter yet the house thru the window. We have to. Be makpid before we are nechshed someone and call him a real Ganoff
Nj law allows you a citizens arrest if you see the crime taking place they could have just held the guy and waited for pd
Sorry to tell you but if the suspect is under 18 LPD may first blame you for holding a juvinile. Moore so if you need to hold down the suspect as he is going to try to get away.
Robbery is by use of violence or displayed threat of same. Burglary is
by surreptitiously stealing by non-violent gaining entry.
