[UPDATED] Police are investigating a home robbery which occurred over Shabbos. At about 5Am this morning, a local resident woke to find a perpetrator in his home. Realizing he was spotted, the perpetrator fled. Nobody was injured and its unclear at this time if anything was taken.

UPDATE: Sources tell TLS at least another 8 homes in the area of Sunset & James were also burglarized, as well as a Shul.

This has been happening way too much lately. Lakewood needs more police officers. The town has grown enormously and we need more officers to handle the growing population. The night shift especially is very understaffed.
