A local residents tells TLS he found a diamond – Kallah-style – ring inside his couch which he purchased about 5 years ago. The man says he was sitting on the couch and put his hand in between the pillows when he felt the something inside. Pulling it out, he discovered the expensive piece of jewelry, which he says did not belong to his wife.
The couch, says the finder, was purchased at a Lakewood store.
If you believe this ring may be yours, you can contact the finder at 718-306-9710. TLS.
Most likely from a guest at his house.
Yes It is most likely not from the store — over five years I am sure they had a guest that perhaps lost it.
He never cleaned it for Pesach? I usually find at least a kezayis chometz in mine.
or its the ring the goyta stole from the house before!!!
When was the last time the couch was cleaned Just asking?
me koamcho yisroel
“Yosef Moker Shabbos”
cool!
hhhaaayha yaya y ay i left it there
I once lost my glasses, bought a new pair and then found them in the couch when I cleaned for pesach. I wish I had found a diamond ring.
this is what we call manna from heaven even if someone does come claim it. The ring was hopelessly lost. btw I am sure the guy already contacted all of his guests. he is trying to see if a kallah or newlywed lost it while furniture shopping.
My wife lost her wedding ring a bunch of years ago, maybe she sat on that couch??
He should contact the store, perhaps they remeber someone that inquered about a lost dimond ring?
He also should try to recal geusts that stayed at his house, a visiting freind or neighbor, may have mentioned a lst ring.
Someone who loses a diamond ring usually calls the places they were the last couple of days to tell to look for it. Story sounds weird.
Who says its a first-hand sofa?
yeoush and sheni reshut its his , no need to try to find the owner
response #3 I am sure that he cleaned very well every year for Peisch, perhaps the ring was lost affter Peisach
i guess owner just put $ into kupat hair .
this story sound a little fishy, somebody would remember losing a ring unless it was to big and it slipped off their finger, and why wasn’t it found during cleaning for passover?
I used to find things like that in Cracker Jack boxes :.)
