PHOTOS: The Republican Party this evening held a fundraiser for Republican Candidates Committeeman Steven Langert and running mate Hal Halvorsen. The event – which took place at the Law Offices Firm of Wegener, Bathgate and Wolf, was attended by Committeeman Isaac Akerman, Township Attorney Jan Wouters, Attorney Leib Klein and other Republican officials and businessman.
Langert and Halvorsen are running for the two seats on the Township Committee, and will be facing Committeeman Ray Coles and Moshe Raitzik.
Elections are November 8.

Some will say that as yidden we should not have yidden in public office. The fact is that we do and therefore we should realize that we need people who make a kiddish Hashem in public office. Steve Langert is such a person and we should all go out and support him on election day.

Does Steve want to be a committeeman or does he really still wish he could be on the ticket for assembly instead?
I endorse and support Hal Halvorsen and Moshe Raitzik. It is time for a change in leadership. Hal and Moshe will bring a much needed, new dimension to Lakewood Township.
We the people need their help with their down to earth common sense, planning skills, budget management, zoning issues, respect for all, an understanding of problems and issues that cry out for resolution, and a profound position of decency.
I will support Hal and Moshe, and I ask you to do the same.
Steve IS the change we have been waiting for. Only there a few years and he ha saved us millions. Also reduced outstanding bond debts by over 7 million while reducing municipal budget. Such a feat has not been accomplished in 30 years!!
Steve works very hard for our town and he is always around to help. Now he needs our votes let’s support him all the way
