A new poll of Republican voters in New Jersey finds a tight battle for the GOP nomination to face off against Governor Murphy in the November election.
The poll, conducted by Public Policy Polling (PPP), found that Jack has the support of 29% of Republicans, while Hirsh Singh would receive a vote in the primary election from 23% of Republicans.
The survey results also show that former President Donald Trump continues to hold significant sway among Republican voters in New Jersey, with 81% saying they want the GOP gubernatorial candidate to be someone who embraces Trump’s agenda, and 87% saying they hold a favorable view of Trump.
Ciattarelli and Singh have both openly supported Trump, but Singh has gone further than Ciattarelli, unapologetically tying himself to the former president and mentioning him in nearly every campaign email, press conference, and event. Ciattarelli, for his part, has called Trump the “standard-bearer” for the Republican Party.
The poll also found that 73% of Republican voters believe that the January 6th riot at the US Capitol was a “false flag” operation carried out by groups opposed to Trump, 71% say they don’t believe Joe Biden was the legitimate winner of the 2020 presidential election, and 69% say that the threat posed by COVID-19 was exaggerated by liberals seeking to undermine President Trump’s reelection campaign.
I can’t forget the mailing I recieved from Singh’s campaign for Senate in 2020 besmirching Rik Mehta in the worst terms. I cannot vote for someone who writes such horrible campaign materials.

They are both minorities and they are the Republicans; Murphy is a white American and he’s the Democrat. Shouldn’t it be the other way around.
I have been following both their campaigns since they started and I have emailed them as well.
Jack Ciattarelli has not said a single thing about what he will do as governor. He is running on being not Governor Murphy. We went through this already when the Democrats were all running as not Trump and look what we got. I have emailed him as well as tweeted, as well as posted to his Facebook account asking him specific questions as to what he will do in relation to the horrible horrible horrible plastic bag ban coming up, The major increase in gasoline tax that we’ve incurred over the past number of years causing so many drivers not to fill up in New Jersey, thus having us lose revenue overall. I’ve also asked a number of other things. I never got a response, not a single word!
Another thing that needs to be pointed out, is despite the dribble in the above article, this candidate has been too critical of the previous president. In simple words, he is closer to a RINO and we’ve had enough of them running Trenton.
Hirsh Singh, on the other hand, is telling us exactly what he will do as governor. He is not shying away from anything. He has answered my questions in the affirmative for the state. The fact that he didn’t turn his back on the president is a positive thing.
Clearly, the choice is not a choice clearly we must vote for Hirsh Singh as the nominee and then BeH as the governor of this state.
