  1. Please only publish such reports from official sources. There have been many rumors flying around, even in so-called legitimate news sources. The IDF Spokesperson hasn’t published any such information yet.

  2. Tls the news is terrible but I hope your sources are good bc no one else in any site is reporting this and if you are wrong then it’s very bad

  3. If this is indeed true, nebbach, I would like to know how TLS had this piece of info before any other media source, Jewish or not, Israeli or other, published it

  5. #3, that would be true in a country without a military censor.
In Israel, releasing information, true or untrue, which was not published officially, can endanger lives. The military has reason why and when it releases information.

That said, we will all know very shortly.

  6. why would you publish this without some sort of proof—we have all been terribly distraught all morning because of your news—can you give us your sources—otherwise we will continue to daven for their release

  7. There was a Ha’aretz tweet that was sent out and deleted, Al Jazeera has reported it as well, and there is an Israeli security cabinet emergency meeting in session as well.

  8. JERUSALEM — Israeli military searchers found three bodies believed to be those of the missing Israeli teenagers who disappeared more than two weeks ago in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, senior government officials said Monday. The Israeli government called an emergency Cabinet meeting.

The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity before the official announcement, said the Army had found the three bodies buried “in a field near Hebron” and were waiting to inform the families before releasing information.

“They know it’s the three, they will know for sure after they do the autopsy.”The official said the three appeared to have been shot to death, likely “very close to the kidnap” time, and that the prime suspects had still not been caught.

  9. Yes this is terrible and tragic news. Yes The Lakewood Scoop was the first on the internet to post it. Yes I’m sure TLS had a confirmed source before posting but look at the comments. Everyone commenting as if they don’t trust a site they check daily, hourly etc. The Lakewood Scoop would not have a site if they jump the gun and report such things without their own proof. Yes I wish there was a happier ending but I think everyone should learn to not jump to conclusions that the site is making up stories.

  10. We need to put an end to this , IDF needs to get these Arabs back soon and hard , we need our state to be safe this will never happen on the US and after it’s done u will be able to hold up your flag and say that u support that group
This only happens to Isreal since we don’t make them pay

  11. Boruch Dayan Emes I am Mamish crying.
Gantz Klal yisroel, lets all get together and be mamshich the achdus that these 3 bocherim started and may that be a zchus to bring the geula that we so desperately need
בילע המות לנצח ומחה ה’ דמעה מעל כל פנים ונאמר אמן

    • Goldy – amen to that!!!

May Hashem bring an aliyah to their neshamah and provide nechamah to these incredibly strong, emunahdike parents.

Indeed, I feel that all of Lakewood is grieving, and we are all valiantly trying to get through our day and be there for those around us even as we are consumed with anguish.

We’ve all felt the intense love for these boys we did not know every time we saw their picture; let us try to hold onto that love and feel it for every yid, no matter his or her background or affiliation.

May Hashem bring the end to all tzaros with the coming of Moshiach very, very soon

  12. Boruch Daayan Emes- say a kapitel tehillim for these heilige korbanos- ask Hashem to send us Rachamim- Hug your children and remember the gifts Hashem has given us- As a parent of a 16 year old this has hit so close to home- As a child of survivors it hit even harder- This is not about the hitching , which happened at a legal stop it is about murder because they were Jews. True Kedoshim!!!!

  13. We need to get congress to stop supporting the PA, we need to call our congressmen and tell them to end funding to the PA NOW. Let’s see if Cory Booker will help us

  14. Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

  15. I’m at a loss for words.
    Devastated .
    Distraught .

I’m not sure thirst for blood or revenge is what our creator would want from us .
    These children were korbanos.
But they were the catylst to unite all of Klal yisrael.
Never have I seen any issue that united
Reform conservative Zionist charedi and even the very secular
That doesn’t me we agree with them
It just shows that we are all brothers ( and sisters)
No matter how far we have strayed
    We shall always be one
    Terrible tragedy
But at least we united for a short period of time
    I am heartbroken

  16. to aveil: let’s keep united for a long time! the key? let’s not judge each other. that is Hashem’s job. instead let us each try to improve ourselves in the way we feel we need to improve, instead of looking at others and telling them how they need to improve. and when we post on the site, let’s speak respectfully to each other even if we don’t always agree with each other.
“Bring Back Our Achdus” (and don’t let it ever leave again)

  17. I commend this site for being so on the edge of current events. So difficult it must be to report on such a loss for Klal Israel..

Be extra kind and empathetic at this time.

  18. BD’E
I write this with a bereaved and bleeding neshama as tears stream down my face. To most of Kehilas Lakewood the name of my late father, R’ Moishe Dovid Kuppermann, Z’TL, is a household word, and many of your children call my beloved mother, “Bubby Anya,” A’MVS.
On behalf of the Kuppermann Family I extend our most profound gratitude and commendation to the entire Lakewood Community, so very dear to us, for demonstrating such tremendous achdus with all of K’lal Yisrael as we grieve together in shock and anguish for the unthinkable slaughter of our three beautiful Yeshiva Bocherim, HY’D.
Since they perished Al Kiddush Hashem I pray that their names and memories not only be a Blessing for Kol Acheinu Beis Yisrael but also a Rallying Cry that we absolutely must retain our achdus as a People, for without unity we are lost. As my wonderful Tatte, who so many of you knew, always used to quote to me from the Kotzker Rebbe, Z’TL, “There is nothing more whole than a broken Jewish heart.” Why? Because there is nothing more OPEN than a broken Jewish heart. You may not know this but my Tatte’s philanthropic largesse, his tzedakah and gemilus chesed, extended to Yiddim of all stripes, even to secular Jews, because his devotion to chinuch was matched by his commitment to achdus. I believe very strongly, as did my Tatte, R’ Moishe Dovid Kuppermann, Z’TL, that if we keep our broken Jewish hearts open and embrace all other Yiddim as our own mishpacha, we will not merely survive but thrive as whole and Moshiach will finally arrive to redeem us, IYH, and then the only korbonos we will ever know again will not be our precious kinderlach or any other Jewish souls but the ones in the Third Bais Hamikdash.
May Gilad Michael ben Bat Galim, A”H, Yaakov Naftali ben Rachel Devora, A”H, and Eyal ben Iris Teshurah, A”H, all have the highest Aliyah in the Yeshiva shel Maalah!
Respectfully and lovingly submitted to you, Kehilas Lakewood, from my own broken Jewish heart to yours,
    Wendy Joy “Binah” Kuppermann, Ph.D.
