  3. Question: If Pinchos was around in the time of Boaz and he never forgot the Halocho le’moshe mesinai, why didn’t he tell them about it why was it necessary for Boaz to gather the bais din hagodol to be doiresh the halocho?
    I agree that the brisker rov says that bais dino shel Shmuel Haramosu means halocho lemoshe mesinai, and the question of how it “skipped” generations is obvious. I further agree that this brilliant mahalach said in the shiur is a real geoines: but I still don’t understand it perfectly.

    One of the most beautiful shiurim I ever heard from anyone.
