Refuah V’Simcha Commands an International Army of over 10,000 Who Specialize in Life-Saving Miracles 365/24/7

[COMMUNICATED]

Refuah V’Simcha is the largest organization you’ve ever heard of.

Headquartered in Yerushalayim, Refuah V’Simcha is an organization comprised of 10,000 volunteers in dozens of countries who will drop anything they’re doing to help save lives and bring comfort to chronically ill patients.

Reb israel tzishinski founder Reb Meir Quinn of Moshav Matityahu is the CEO of Refuah V’Simcha who quietly commands the army of volunteers around the world in his unassuming way, but is a real-life dynamo who at any moment could be engineering an emergency airlift of life-saving medical equipment into Iran or an urgent chemo infusion into Bat Yam. Together with regional and local volunteers like US and Canada director of operations Reb Baruch Dvorkas of Lakewood, New Jersey, Meir can instantly connect with thousands of volunteers in tens of countries via a dedicated network and help create miracles for those patients who desperately need one most.

Recently a desperately ill child in central Israel urgently needed a medication that is produced exclusively by an obscure specialty pharmacy somewhere in Osaka, Japan. Reb Meir was hoping against hope to, first, find the precise location of the pharmacy. Second, establish that the drug was indeed available. Third, find someone to actually travel to Osaka to pick up the rare medication and then and only then find a way to get it to Israel. He reached out via WhatsApp to a Chabad shaliach in Japan, Rabbi Vishedsky, who was also a Refuah V’Simcha volunteer, who it turned out by Hashgacha Pratis lived minutes from the pharmacy. Although it was already Friday afternoon in Japan, he waited for the med to be prepared until minutes before Shabbos. And, since Hashem runs the world, the rabbi just happened to have booked tickets for a flight to Eretz Yisrael for that very same Motzei Shabbos. Less than 2 days into the near impossible mission that was, at best, expected to take a week, a critically ill child took his first life sustaining dose of what was truly a miracle drug. Meir Quinn is used to witnessing miracles but this one moved him to tears.

But Refuah V’Simcha does so much more.

In addition to providing free emergency transport of medications, medical equipment, bone marrow and even donor organs throughout the globe, they have mobilized a network of hundreds, who volunteer daily to transport patients to doctors’ appointments and outpatient treatments in Refuah V’Simcha ambulances and vehicles at no cost.

And, on top of all this, Refuah V’Simcha is the only organization that runs free, regular retreats throughout the year for the families of chronically ill and disabled patients where they can do something they never can otherwise afford to do: relax. The retreats which are held in popular hotels in Israel, feature finely catered meals and accommodations and hundreds of volunteers who fully tend to the extensive needs of the patients while parents and other family members get some critically needed time off.

Now it’s your turn to create a miracle.

Refuah V’Simcha is funded by amazing people who want their tzedakah dollars to make a real difference in the world. Your tax-deductible contribution to Refuah V’Simcha is stretched to the maximum because of all the unpaid volunteer miracle workers who are the powerful engine that drive the organization.

So, go ahead. Join Meir, Baruch and the many thousands of volunteers of Refuah V”Simcha by giving as much as you can and be a hero too.
