A Yahrtzeit Seudah will be taking place this Thursday evening in honor of the fourth Yahrtzeit of Hagaon Reb Elya Baruch Finkel Zatzal. The reception will benefit the Machon Kisvei R’ Elya Baruch, a project by Talmidim to publish the Shiurim of the famed Mirer Magid Shiur.
Recently, the Talmidim have released the second Sefer of Reb Elya Baruch, the Shiurim on Bava Basra, and are in the works of publishing the third Sefer, on Mesechta Yevamos. The cost of the production is approximately $30,000.
The event will be taking place at Khal Zichron Yaakov (Rabbi Gissinger’s Shul) 170 Sunset Road, at 7:30 p.m. sharp.
A hot buffet will be served.

Reb Elya Baruch was Niftar four years ago after suffering a massive heart attack, and left over thousands of Talmidim world-wide. He was 60.
A day does not go by where I do not think of something Rebbe taught me. A small Nechama is the shelf on my Seforim Shrank that is slowly getting filled with Rebbe’s Torah. Thank you to the Askonim (Dovid Dick) for arranging this Asifa.
He was a Rebbi to all. Whether you were in his shiur or not his Torah and smile filled up the Mir (and the world).
He was such a warm and dedicated Rebbi, he is sorely missed. I will never forget the hours spent shmoozing in learning after shiur(during lunch) in his parents apartment. He truly enjoyed every moment of his “connection” with a talmid.
