TONIGHT: Reb Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin’s Annual Zos Chanuka Celebration in Lakewood

It’s more than a celebration. This Motzoi Shabbos, hundreds will again gather to mark the miraculous release from “a place called prison” of R’ Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin on Zos Chanuka seven years ago.

At the time, Yidden everywhere responded with overwhelming joy and excitement, literally dancing in the streets in celebration of the miracle for which they had all Davened. While the moment for spontaneous ecstatic dancing may have passed, it has been replaced by an enduring interest and recurring celebration – in part of that one miraculous moment, but mostly of the demonstration of the reality and reward of Bitachon that it seared into our collective consciousness.

Many join Rabbi Rubashkin at his Shiurim and classes throughout the year, learning to apply the Torah clarity and the strength of Bitachon to their own lives and have been helped in the zechus of their Bitachon with mental and emotional wellbeing and practical yeshuos in parnassa, shidduchim, children, sholom bayis, and all parts of life. Now is the time for the annual evening of Chizuk and Simcha.

All are invited to celebrate the past, find strength for the present, and build Bitachon for the future at the Seudas Hoda’a Melava Malka celebrating the seventh anniversary of the nes. The event will be graced by the presence of Rav Uren Reich, who will address the crowd, as will Rav Aron Weinberg, Rabbi Pinchos Lipschutz, and of course, Rabbi Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin.

There will be a full parallel program for women at the same location, and the women will also be addressed by Rabbi Rubashkin.

The doors will open at Bnos Melech (550 James St.) at 8:30pm, with a musical Shira V’Hodaya. The program will begin at 9pm and will run until 11pm, followed by live music and dancing and a Sheves Achim with Rabbi Rubashkin.

As in years past, the Zos Chanuka event will also serve as the start of registration for the yearly “Shabbos of Emunah and Bitachon with Rabbi Rubashkin” and attendees will benefit from an introductory 10% discount!
