Readers’ Scoop: Thank You Officer, Badge #319

TLS, I was recently involved in an incident in which the Lakewood Police Department was summoned. Officer S. Kowaleski Badge #319 responded, and I must say I was truly impressed. From the moment he came until he left he was professional and understanding. His concern and patience was truly extraordinary. He showed he really cared and made everything seem better. I would just like to say thank you to Officer Kowaleski and to the LPD for having such a great team ready and able to serve our community. Keep it up! Thanks so much,

To #4 its called showing gratitude? you know common decency the thing a lot of ppl are missing.
Just because its someone’s job doesn’t mean they don’t deserve the thank you. When you give your kids supper maybe they shouldn’t say thank you, you are a grown up after all.

To say thank you doesnt hurt. Maybe the next a person is pulled over he will them slide. The cop is also a person

You know what ..every officer deserves a little gratitude every now and then. They do a job that is not the easiest to do..Many people in this town take the advantage that they are here for personal services. They do what they can for the town and the residents that live there. Give them a break sometimes…Like the Firefighters and EMS they praised when things go right and chastised when things go wrong..they are in a no win situation..a Little Gratitude goes a long way.

i remember seeing officer kowalski eating a jelly donut one time, he took 3 bites and gave me the rest,i will always appreciate and remember him for that……..although he ate all the jelly, and licked all the powder off it was still good,,,,,yummy yummy officer kowalski for lakewood officer of the year
