Reader-submitted Photos: Albert Ave. Flooding Again: 30 years of complaining and still nothing done

Reader-submitted: After approximately 30 years of complaining about the drainage on Albert Avenue, it’s disheartening to see that still nothing has been done.

With all the new homes, schools etc going up, there is now nowhere for the water to go, but in the street. How long now till homes start flooding out.

  1. Yes, that area on albert Avenue is a total disaster when it rains.
I remember about a year to two years ago I saw a brand-new expensive car get stalled in that puddle right there.

  2. how about Ridge ave corner NY?
what about corner of route 88 where a new CUl de sac is going up? saw the latest flooding there?

What about the new Carriage court on Mannate turned the street to swamp.

  3. May I request and what about Squankum Ave across from Khal Shimshon for 25 years its flooded and nothing done. We should file a class action lawsuit against the Lakewood Township maybe they will start listening and doing something about it.
