To The Lakewood Scoop, I want to publicly thank Mike Marks, Deputy Fire Marshal, for his help this afternoon. Despite a packed schedule visiting many Lag Ba’Omer bonfire sites, he took time to clarify our slightly complicated situation, left followup information, and answered questions.
The gentleman at the Fire Marshal’s office who took my application for a fire permit was also pleasant to deal with.
