TLS has obtained the final police report for the accident in which a school bus overturned and pinned a vehicle in Lakewood last month.
The accident was first reported by TLS.
In the report, police confirm our original report which indicated the school bus allegedly attempted to pass a vehicle on the left, as the vehicle was making a left turn, resulting in a domino-effect accident. Five vehicles were damaged in the accident.
As earlier reported, the driver was issued summonses for Reckless Driving and Improper passing.
Maybe remove /blur the insurance info in the report
I knew that when all the facts come in the bus-driver would be cleared.
People wrongly vent their frustration at bus drivers, despite most of them being wonderful and careful drivers.
Let’s let them drive in peace and please give them the room they need.
Am I reading a different report than you? Or maybe I’m reading it wrong? From the report it looks like the bus driver was at fault and the bus driver is the one that got a summons.
So either your were wrong both before and after the “facts came in” or I’m misreading the report and witness testimony.
Where do you see the bus driver was cleared?
Is this bus driver still working for jays?
Did the car have his left blinker on ???
And his license wasn’t suspended………
This bus driver gets a summons but the one from yesterday gets fired really????
am i missing something? from what i understood from the report, the bus basically went into the opposite lane.
why would someone write the bus driver was cleared? and what difference does it make if the car had his blinker on?
We need to start a class-action lawsuit against the BOE for allowing the bid to go to a bus company with such drivers.
Such severe accidents every month???
