Someone asked Rav Shlomo Zalman if he should wait until after Tisha B’Av to follow up on a proposed shiduch. Rav Shlomo Zalman held his hand and said he should even meet the girl on Tisha B’Av if necessary. During a walk through the Shaarei Chesed neighborhood Rav Shlomo Zalman stopped and pointed to a house and commented, “In that house lives a tzaddik who met his wife for the first time on Tisha B’Av.”
Regarding the dress code for a date in the nine days Rav Shlomo Zalman advised to wear a nice jacket but not shabbos clothing. (Aleihu Lo Yibol OC 314-315) Revach
pritzus
To number 1: WHAT is pritzus?? Women are allowed to show their hands/fingers… I don’t get it!?
i agree with number 2! if u[number 1] think that thats pritzus, y r u on the internet? there r so many worse things!
If #2 “doesn’t get it” and #3 can agree with #2 we are in bad shape. Just because there are worst thing s in life doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t be desensitized to pictures that are not in the spirit of tznius. That’s like saying because a person isn’t wearing a hat and jacket he should also go without socks! So you say, “Wow, what a foolish extreme example!” But yet that is what #3 is saying. There are so many worse things so overlook the not so worse things. Even if you don’t agree with #1 because you are desensitized, why must you exploit your views to others? Maybe just maybe some people look at things in life from a more sensative window? Next time, before you comment with a knee-jerk reaction stop and think who will make fun of who upstairs after 120? I wish you the best of luck in life.
stop all this nonsense & go red a shiduch to someone
do something usefull wuth your time-lmaan hashem!
