PHOTOS: Following Monday’s photo album of Rav Ginsburg’s arrival in Eretz Yisroel, we present here dozens more photos of Rav Ginsburg’s welcome at the Ponovez Yeshivah, as well as the Rav’s visit at the Rashbi Yeshivah and more. On Erev Yom Tov, Rav Chaim paid a visit to Harav Meir Tzvi Bergman Shlita where he was received very warmly.
The first night of Yom Tov, the Beis Medrash was packed with Talmidim wishing to catch a glimpse of the new R”M. For about an hour following Maariv, all walked by Rav Chaim wishing him a Gut Yom Tov.
On Motzei Yom Tov as all awaited for the Rosh Yeshiva’s weekly Divrei Chizuk Shiur, as it is the minhag Hayeshiva each week after Havdala, The Rosh Yeshivah got up and asked Harav Chaim to deliver it instead saying, “Vi Azoi ken ich geben mussar oib der einikel fun R’ Chatzkel Zitzt duh”.
Following the Shiur, the Talmidei Hayeshiva proceeded to walk the new R”M home.
Rav Ginsburg is currently serving as the new R”M in Ponovez after serving as one of Lakewood’s most prominent Rosh Chaburas.
