Raintree Gets Hit With 50 Feet Of Gang Markings

gang graffitti raintreePHOTO: The latest display of gang markings on the fences of Tamarind Park in the Raintree area, seems to indicate the gangs are not giving up anytime soon. But not just a ‘marking’. Gang markings-marked by gangs to claim their ‘territory’-covered about 50 feet of fencing along the Joe Parker development. Other areas targeted in recent weeks, included the Ridge area and Park Avenue area, as reported on TLS.

  1. park and 4th they spray painted over the exact spots that were cleaned up. On ridge by White Oak were there is no slums they sprayed.

they are just a bunch of losers who dont care about other people or their property. no respect.

  2. Where ow where is the gang task force where is the state police (ow there busy giving out traffic tickets )
People are being gunned down the town has become a canvas for graffiti artist and the authorities seem to be doing nothing ( except the state police who are diligently giving out traffic tickets )
Its time to call in the big guns and start kicking down some slum doors and cleaning house
Let the slumlords pay for bringing gang members into town if you find a house that has gang members or other crimes are being committed board it up like they do on the inner city’s like camden jersey city Baltimore newark and then youl see the landlords being very selective of who they bring in

  3. whether you print this or not ,but i feel that this all about “sinus chinum” in this town not taking children in schools etz if we cant get along how is everybody else going to treat us? we lose our shield and we dont have to resort to ubashkin for “achdus” we have enough local situations here that we need to draw together

  4. The gang markings will not go away, THE SHOOTINGS WILL NOT GO AWAY, BECAUSE LAKEWOOD IS DIVERSE, IT IS CERTAINLY NOT EQUAL.

REMEMBER ARE YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR NEIGHBOR’S ANGER?

  5. THANK YOU TO ALL THE INVESTORS, JUST BEAUSE, SOME PEOPLE CHOOSE TO LIVE IN A PRIVATE COMMUNITY, and think they are free from what is going on not so.

THANK THE INVESTORS FOR WHAT IS HAPPENING IN LAKEWOOD, YOU KNOW WHO THE INVESTORS ARE, AND YOU SIT BACK AND DO NOTHING. .

  6. how is this able to happen in this town . with all the recognition we give the LPD instead of having 10 officers all day on clifton ave looking to nab people on there cell phone or that are not waering a seatbelt why cant we get this dept together and im not even gonna get into the state police that all they do is circle around lakewood and eat dounuts and give tickets all day . this is not rocket science to find these gangs , follow them , just do wats gotta be done to end all this garbage . do we have to wait till god forbid something happens to one of us or one of our friends i am so angry , furious , its about time something get done!!!!

  7. Those State Troopers that you see ticketing vehicles around town are really supposed to be cracking down on gangs! State Police was sent to lakewood to get rid of the gangs and that’s a fact! But they are too busy giving out seatbelt tickets on Rt 88. Shame on them!

  8. To Glitz: Yes, Lakewood is diverse… it is also equal, as in equal opportunity. Go out, get an education, study hard, party less, work hard, take risks, and you too can build and live in a “private community”. The “investors” (whoever they are) are not responsible for their neighbors (or your) anger, you are. Complaining why some have and some don’t may feed your anger and jealousy, but hard work is the only thing that will change the facts… Just ask any “investor”.

  9. FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS: how come when i write a comment that some how might question or expose something about the orthodox community, my comments get blocked out…. BUT #11 FOR THE SECOND TIME CAN HAVE HIS COMMENT THAT INVOLVES HIS ADMIRATION FOR THE GANG’S STAY UP??

SECOND ORDER OF BUSINESS: this is the direct result of allowing illegals to enter the country and low income housing. there has not been a single low income housing complex that did not turn into a slum(state & nation wide, not just lakewood.)

  10. It is the responsibilty of the Lakewood Police to protect its residents. Chief Lawson is responsible to direct his policemen and women on how he can keep this beautiful area clean from crime and all things that are against the law. It includes driving and parking infractions. HOWEVER priorities do not seem to be getting set. Seems as parking tickets are more important that cleaning up the neighborhood.
That is the problem in a nutshell and nothing else.Protect the law abiding citizens.PLEASE!

  11. **NUMBER 18—-**

you can admit that the gangs of today are not nicely dressed white Italian guys right? that today’s gangs are gangs that of the black & hispanic communities – right?

So an officer approaching a group of minorities to frisk them for drugs & weapons will lead to what? sometimes finding contraband…. and sometimes finding nothing. so what will happen next? the group of minorities will hire an attorney to then take the matter to court and to take the officer and grill him infront of a judge to find out what was the PROBABLE CAUSE for the officer to take then and conduct a terry-stop/or the warrantless search. so tell me, what does that process turn into? (officers mental thoughts)-> “IF THEY ARE ONLY STANDING AROUND, AND I CANT PROVE IN COURT THAT THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL- I CANT ARREST/DETAIN/SEARCH/ OR EVEN SPEAK TO THEM WITHOUT HAVING TO HEAR OF RACIAL PROFILING/HARASSMENT AND BE SUED- so ill just wait till they do something before im able to confront them.”

That is the direct result of the liberal-democrats agenda to limit law enforcement’s abilities to profile, approach, detain, and search citizens unless there is concrete evidence of suspicious activity.

  12. Something tells me that the cell phone, speeding and parking tickets were issued during the day- pretty sure the graffiti didn’t happen in broad daylight.

  13. “Seems as parking tickets are more important that cleaning up the neighborhood” Question should we stop enforcing all the other laws??
Again all the laws need to be upheld why do some make these statement pointing to other infactions even minnor ones thinking they need not be adhered to just because there are other crimes being commited . as for cleaning up the graffiti thats not going to fix the real problem although it needs to be done .
We can thank certain group of people in this community for the influx of undesirable individuals that now are in this town If you rent to anyone ~ They will come

  14. To #19 – Mr. Conservative

“Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety deserve neither Liberty nor Safety”
    — Benjamin Franklin

Mr. Conservative I am not a “Liberal-Democrat” but I am not willing to give up my freedom from discriminatory search and seizures because of a few punks or millions of them for that matter. Every time we allow the government to revoke another right from us we take another step forward toward a militant police state. Now I support our police 100% (I have many friends in the LPD and other agencies) and I am a firm supporter of preventing layoffs but I will not allow them to stop me because they don’t like the way I look or because I belong to a certain ethnic/racial/religious group. There are other ways to stop the gang members responsible that don’t involve unlawful means. Right off the back I have noticed they keep tagging long stretches of fence in the NE side of town, why not put a small “task force” of 2-3 cops together to watch areas similar to this and catch them in the act. One of the fences has been tagged multiple times, why not install a camera. There are also many social factors that could be addressed to stop the problem at the cause, like the slumlords who rent to the worst of them and doing more to better educate and employ these people who can be saved and made productive rather than destructive.

  15. Mr. Conservative,
You got my vote. When will we see your name on the ticket?
We need someone like you to say it like it is!

Let’s go everybody, line up behind me in support of Mr C.!

  16. Why would someone choose to live next door to golfview? It is known as the worst neighborhood in lkwd. Worse than woodlake and highpoint. I feel so bad for the people that have to deal with this but what can you expect when you move into the gangs backyard? I just hope these buyers were aware of who their neighbors were going to be before they moved there.

  17. The homeowner should clean this up right away. If they do not, the town should clean this up or bring in members of our local community service unit to clean up this mess. The only way to combact this is to clean it right away.

  18. To all those complaining about tickets – How about observing traffic laws? Nooooo! Anything but that!

(It saves lives also. As the Briskers say – t’s a chumra in pikuach nefesh.)
